Every year as November gets closer you can always spot a few people who smile more than usual – these guys are heading to Ad: Tech NYC
Although Matomy Media Group is no stranger to the ad:tech exhibitions around the world, the New York one always feels a bit different as it represents the heart of the industry. After a “short” 11 hour flight crossing the Atlantic from Tel Aviv, we finally made it to The Big Apple and it was great, as always.
Our expedition included people from various Matomy units such as our ad network Matomy Media, mobile advertising division Matomy Mobile, affiliate network Matomy Market & some of the folks from our branch Matomy LATAM in Madrid.
Our research team attended the Keynote presentations (click to see them online), got up to date with some of the market trends, and the rest of us took to floor to meet up with many of our existing partners.
We had vast discussions about the ongoing growth of our ad network Matomy Media, who has been growing rapidly throughout the last few years.
An interesting buzzword that was mentioned over and over again is click-to-call or pay-per-call which seem to be ramping up as an advertising model.
Moreover, the US marketplace keep showing a lot of interest in mobile activities through its channels.
It is very interesting to see how main activity in the US market are different than Europe; however, it is without a doubt that North America remain the biggest market in both traffic & revenue.
During the 2-day exhibition we had a chance to walk around the expo and enjoy some cool smoothies by Yahoo, an interactive appearance by a magician named Chad Long and have a drink at the beer garden with some old friends.
Overall, we had a successful conference that was well-organized and hosted in an amazing city – what else can you ask for ?
Don’t miss our next appearance: Affiliate Summit West in Las Vegas!
